Rare vintage German wooden Christmas music box. Handmade German music box in excellent condition, no broken parts. This has the cutest little scene of Santa by a chirstmas tree surrounded by toys and children. There is a metal crank to turn to wind and then also a wood pin that moves in and out. Usually the wood pin starts and stops the music but this one is a little touchy and doesnt work quite how I expected but it does play music and rotate. You wind the box with the metal crank and when you push the wooden pin in the music starts. When it stops the pin pops out a bit and if you push it in again the music plays again. This is such a great German handcrafted collectible piece! Measures approx 8.5" tall, 6.75" wide. Bottom has sticker that says Hergestellt in der DDR, translates Manufactered in East Germany.
